The Turtle Filter is a filtration system designed for freshwater turtle aquariums, animals known for producing a significant amount of waste and requiring clean, well-oxygenated water. It helps maintain clear water while making aquarium maintenance easier.


Its bottom intake system, equipped with large openings, efficiently captures heavy debris, leftover food and waste directly where they accumulate. The water is then filtered through a replaceable cartridge that provides mechanical filtration while also serving as a support for the development of beneficial bacteria essential to the biological balance of the aquarium.


The waterfall-style outlet creates gentle water movement and promotes oxygenation, contributing to the proper functioning of the aquatic environment and the comfort of the turtles. An integrated protective grid prevents access to the filter’s moving parts, ensuring safe use even with young or active animals.


With a flow rate of 350 L/h, the Turtle Filter is particularly suitable for aquariums of around 45 liters, such as the Kit Tortue 100, and helps maintain clean and stable water on a daily basis.
