Balanced UVB output promotes the growth of strong structures (scales, claws, shells) and helps prevent metabolic bone disease. The UVB rays emitted by the Ultrasun help reptiles synthesize provitamin D3, ensuring optimal calcium absorption through vitamin D3 production. UVA rays contribute to the animals’ physiological well-being by helping reduce stress. The Ultrasun can be placed directly on top of the enclosure mesh. Easy installation thanks to its self-ballasted design: simply screw it into a standard E27 ceramic socket (no separate ballast required).
